Light a candle and pray Jesus light of the world come into our darkness and be our hope!
Read Daniel 1:1-7
Write a note to yourself:
Think about a time in your past that was difficult, but you've overcome at this point. As we think about the story of the Exodus and Daniel, Lord willing we will be able to see Jesus in our past as well. Write a note to yourself to remind yourself where you have seen Jesus at work in your life. When I say note, this can be a short note, a journal post, a postcard or even a proper letter. The point is to see that Jesus has always been there for you, because he has. As you think about this and write it out, know that Jesus is there in the midst of any hard time, and he is at work in your life.
