Light a candle and pray Jesus light of the world come into our darkness and be our peace!

Read Romans 3:21-31

Even though none of us are perfect, Jesus still wants to give us his peace as a gift. There are a lot of times in our life that we have to recieve the peace of Jesus through faith. There is no reason we should be at peace or have peace, but Jesus gives it to us anyway. Through Jesus there is a peace that truly passes all understanding. Jesus went to the cross for us and died, not very peaceful, but this is how much bringing peace into our life meant to him.

Jesus is trying to bring peace into your life, are you willing to allow him? As we focus on the peace of Jesus right now, let's use our creativity to help us.

Take a clean sheet of paper and use your creativity to create a symbol of peace for yourself this next year. This is something that maybe you could look at and allow it to encourage you. It could be a poem or a song. Put on some music and take some time to create something that will help you abide in the peace that Jesus brings in your life this next year.
