Light a candle and pray Jesus light of the world come into our darkness and be our peace!

If you do advent in the morning, this is intended to be done after the Sunday Gathering.

Join us on Sunday for worship at 10am. Or listen to the sermon here: https://www.podbean.com/eas/pb-tceta-17645fa

Pray through the list of ongoing global conflicts.

We know this world is not as complete as it can be. If you need proof the list of ongoing global conflicts is much larger than we hear about in the news. According to The Geneva Acadamy there are currently more than 110 armed conflicts in the world today. Some are new and some have been ongoing for over 50 years.

Just as we need Jesus to be our hope, we need him to be our Peace as well. We are waiting for him to come and make the world complete. We pray through this list as a longing for Jesus to set things straight. We need him in our world today. In the song This Is War by Dustin Kensrue it gives us a picture that Jesus fights wars for us. He doesn't fight war with war, he fights it by becoming our prince of peace. Jesus come into our darkness and be our peace.
