Light a candle and pray Jesus light of the world come into our darkness and be our joy!
Read Matthew 5:1-12
The beatitudes are some of the most profound and thought provoking teachings of Jesus. Jesus wants us to live blessed lives, happy lives and then he shows us how to live in the beatitudes. They show us the way to live, the Jesus way and they also show us thier rewards. If we live the way that Jesus shows us, we will have joy.
Lets make a plan to live a blessed life. We can trust that Jesus wants us to have joy today, but also everyday we walk with him. Jesus teaches us about light right after these verses. He is the light of the world and comes into our darkness to bring us joy. Go through the beatitudes one by one and make a plan on how to live the way Jesus is teaching us. Spend some time to make a plan to bring more joy into your life through following Jesus.
